DOORS License pool problem

Hi All,

Please advise on this problem.

We have a lot of users who work on the DOORS Client from the Terminal Server. Most of the time the users do not log off when they finish their work. They just close the RDP window from the X button and that's it. After 2 hours of inactivity the users' session is closed along with his processes.

The problem we have is that when the Terminal Server closes the session DOORS License Server does not release the license for that user, and keeps it until we manually disconnect it.

Please help with this issue.

As your clients were closing the RDP window from the X button, the Services of DOORS will withhold the license. so you can close the DOORS window as a normal way as suggested below.

Goto --> File--> click on Exit..
